Brian Kaufman serves as First Vice President of the Matthews™ Capital Markets Division, focusing on his comprehensive understanding of credit to structure debt and equity solutions for his clients. Through his values of putting his clients first, Brian ensures they are given the most competitive financing and equity options available. Brian’s comprehensive background in real estate allows him to be knowledgeable to best serve his clients in all aspects of the business. As an industry veteran, Brian has had multiple notable deals for private clients, family offices and institutional investors.  Transactions range from $2 million serviced life company loans to $400 million portfolio debt and LP equity raises.

Prior to Matthews™, Brian worked for Walker & Dunlop in their Capital Markets Division. Brian was also a commercial loan originator for George Elkins Mortgage Banking Company in La Jolla, California and Sacramento, California.
