Effective this month, Harrington will lead the team of specialized brokers exclusively focused on serving the needs of institutional and private client multifamily investors and will continue to build the division to serve clients across the United States.

Harrington has executed nearly 200 transactions amounting to more than $1 billion in sales, including 24 separate transactions for over $75 million in 2015. Recently the team executed the sale of an apartment building in Los Angeles’ Beach City area at a record-breaking price-per-square-foot. Harrington has over 15 years’ experience in multifamily brokerage, a background in finance and marketing, and has earned multiple National Sales Achievement Awards as well as Rookie of the Year. Previously a Director at Berkadia, Harrington brings with him an experienced team of collaborative multifamily brokers, adding to the size of the Matthews Multifamily Advisors division.
