Stew Weston and Rosie Cooper

 

LOS ANGELES — Matthews Real Estate Investment Services, a commercial real estate investment services and technology firm, welcomes esteemed investment sales agents Stewart Weston as Executive Vice President, Rosie Cooper as Executive Vice President, and Fortino Reyes as Sales Operations Manager.

 

Weston and Cooper bring decades of institutional experience in Southern California, with a specialized focus on existing multifamily sales, land sales, and residential ground-up development advisory, both multifamily and single-family. Over their careers, they have executed $13.4 billion in sales across 888 transactions, comprising 73,000 units. In addition, between 2019 and 2024, they executed $600 million in residential land sales, comprising 9,000 proposed units and 210 developable acres. This included some of the market’s most notable multifamily and for-sale, single-family residential developments.

 

Weston, based in Orange County, CA, joins Matthews™ from CBRE, where he served as an Executive Vice President in the Capital Markets group. Prior to CBRE, Weston spent 25 years at Institutional Property Advisors / Marcus and Millichap. With three decades of experience in multifamily brokerage, Weston is known for his meticulous approach to sizing up a property, uncovering hidden potential, and crafting innovative strategies that maximize asset value.

Cooper, based in San Diego, CA, also joins Matthews™ from CBRE. A civil and environmental engineer, Cooper leverages her more than two decades of experience in development and construction to identify land opportunities for both multifamily and single-family institutional developers seeking ground-up opportunities. Prior to CBRE, Cooper managed JPI’s $1.9 billion multifamily development portfolio in the Western U.S., overseeing site selection, development, design management, construction, asset management and capital markets, through disposition.
