The property is 100 percent occupied and closed within 98 percent of the list price. Associate Fabiha Muhammad and Market Leader Andrew Gross handled the transaction.
Matthews™ represented the seller, a private client, who looked to dispose of the large multifamily portfolio’s management responsibilities and enter into a more passive investment. Agents secured multiple offers through a robust marketing campaign, creating a competitive offer environment.
“This deal was previously listed with another brokerage and did not receive any offers,” Ms. Muhammad said. “By using our proprietary marketing platform, we were able to source multiple offers within days and close with the first buyer.”
The buyer was looking to increase their multifamily portfolio in a well-established region. Primarily owning multifamily properties in the South, including Texas, Florida, and Georgia, the buyer believed Louisiana was a perfect choice for expansion. The buyer received an in-demand and secure investment in a growing market.
