Los Angeles, CA – Matthews Real Estate Investment Services™, the nation’s fastest-growing commercial real estate firm, has secured three new locations for the Japanese ramen restaurant, Silverlake Ramen. Silverlake Ramen will now be available to customers in Burbank, Monterey Park, and Porter Ranch, CA. Michael Pakravan, SVP & National Director of Retail Leasing at Matthews™ and Leasing Associate Aditya Ramnath represented the tenant.

Silverlake Ramen combines traditional Japanese ingredients and flavors with a casual California flair. The restaurant chain was voted as one of the Top Ramen Spots in Los Angeles by Zagat, the top pick for Best Ramen in LA by Califoreigners, the most popular spot on the Eastside by Timeout, and one of LA Weekly’s Best Restaurants in Silverlake. Matthews™ agents were able to secure the leases for Silverlake Ramen thanks to their long-term relationships with landlords and brokers.

“We are grateful to have Silverlake Ramen as a client and we cherish and value the friendship that has formed over the years. It has been incredible to see Silverlake Ramen grow from a tiny mom and pop restaurant in Silverlake, CA to a nationally recognized brand,” said SVP & National Director of Retail Leasing, Michael Pakravan. “We are thrilled to have secured three additional locations for Silverlake Ramen and are looking forward to helping them continue to expand into prominent lifestyle centers around the nation.”

Silverlake Ramen will take over a second-generation PizzaRev space in downtown Burbank, adjacent to an AMC Theatre that sells the highest number of tickets in the United States, followed by the AMC in Times Square, which comes in second. Silverlake Ramen will also be opening a new location in the Atlantic Square community shopping center in Monterey Park, CA. The third new location is in Porter Ranch, CA. More specifically, in the Vineyards at Porter Ranch, a new development project anchored by Whole Foods and Nordstrom and surrounded by best-in-class retailers and restaurants.

“As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, we have seen a wave of restaurant closures causing many tenants to scale back. Conversely, Silverlake Ramen owners have viewed this moment as an opportunity to expand,” said Leasing Associate Aditya Ramnath. “We are excited to witness their continued success and ability to expand despite these challenging times.”

The Matthews™ Retail Leasing Division represents top tenants such as Silverlake Ramen, Sweetfin, Gyu Kaku, Health Nut, Jersey Mike’s, Tempo Urban Kitchen, King & Queen Cantina, Gina’s Pizza, and more. For tenant requirements, more information regarding this lease, or any other questions related to Retail Leasing, please do not hesitate to reach out to Michael Pakravan or Aditya Ramnath.
