Luke Thompson Joins National Brokerage’s Capital Markets Division

Austin, TX — Matthews Real Estate Investment Services™, a commercial real estate investment services and technology firm, welcomed prominent commercial real estate debt and equity specialist Luke Thompson as Vice President. Based in Austin, TX, Thompson is joining the Matthews™ Capital Markets (MCM) Division, where he will provide commercial financing solutions nationwide across all product types, with a focus on hospitality assets.

Prior to Matthews™, Thompson worked as a principal at Coldwater Equities, an investment firm that completed multiple large hotel development projects and specialized in direct lending mezzanine debt and preferred equity, providing clients with customized financial strategies for various real estate projects across the country. His extensive experience allows him to structure complex deals that meet the unique needs of both institutional and private investors. Luke also has experience working at a variety of hospitality investment banking firms, such as F10 Hotels and HVS Capital Corp, one of the world’s largest hospitality consulting firms.
